Spicy Blood Orange Ginger Sauce Recipe

  1. SautA shallots, ginger, garlic, and bell pepper in grapeseed oil for 1-2 minutes or until shallots are translucent.
  2. Add curry powder and cook briefly.
  3. Add the lime juice and mirin or dry sherry, and reduce by half.
  4. Add Veggie-Glace Gold, chili paste, blood orange vinegar, and sugar.
  5. Bring to a boil and stir until Veggie-Glace Gold is dissolved and sauce is at the desired consistency.
  6. Add Soy sauce then strain.
  7. Stir in zest of one orange and serve over vegetables, sauted chicken grilled meat, steamed or sauted shrimp or scallops.
  8. Mirin- A Japanese sweet rice wine.
