All-American Cheese Bread

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Cut loaf into 10 (1-inch) slices almost to bottom crust.
  3. Combine butter and garlic salt in bowl; mix well.
  4. Brush cut-sides of bread with butter mixture.
  5. Place 1 half slice yellow cheese and 1 half slice white cheese into each cut; sprinkle with parsley.
  6. Wrap loaves loosely in heavy-duty aluminum foil; seal top and ends.
  7. Bake 25-30 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  8. Grilling Directions: Prepare bread as directed above.
  9. Heat 1 side of gas grill to medium or charcoal grill, placing coals to 1 side, until coals are ash white.
  10. Place bread onto grill opposite heat or coals.
  11. Cover; grill 25-30 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
