Sour Cream Pound Cake

  1. Heat oven to 325F.
  2. Mix flour and baking soda.
  3. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, until well blended.
  5. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream, beating well after each addition.
  6. Blend in vanilla.
  7. Pour into greased 10-inch tube pan or 12-cup fluted tube pan.
  8. Bake 1 hour 20 min.
  9. or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
  10. Cool in pan 10 min.
  11. Remove from pan to wire rack.
  12. Cool completely.
