Mango Chutney Recipe

  1. FIRST DAY: Mix vinegar, sugar, warm pepper, spices, onions and mango.
  2. Heat to boiling.
  3. Cover.
  4. Let stand overnight.
  5. NEXT DAY: Add in lime juice and 1 c. raisins.
  6. Simmer 4 to 5 hrs till mango pcs turn color and become transparent.
  7. Place in warm sterilized jars.
  8. Makes about 22 1/2 pints.
