Fried Manchego Fingers
- Manchego cheese
- Bread crumbs (preferably use slightly stale bread)
- 1 egg, beaten
- Plain flour, seasoned to taste
- Cut the manchego cheese into fingers.
- Place each of the remaining 3 ingredients on 3 seperate plates, then in turn coat each finger of cheese in flour, followed by egg, followed by bread crumbs.
- Repeat the process with each finger, then place in a hot deep fat fryer at roughly 350F/180C for 4 minutes, or until golden.
- Serve immediately with a peppery salad.
