Baked Fontina

  1. Adjust the rack in your oven to the top rung.
  2. Make sure you are 6-7 inches from the broiler.
  3. Preheat your oven to broil on high.
  4. Put the cheese, oil, garlic, and herbs in a 12-inch cast iron skillet.
  5. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the top.
  6. Make sure everything is evenly distributed.
  7. Broil 6 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
  8. Set on a heat proof surface.
  9. Dip baguette slices into hot cheese.
