Mandys whole chicken slow cooker
- 4 lb whole fresh chicken
- 3 carrots cut into chunks
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 onion, chopped
- 2 lb red potato cut into chunks
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 200 ml cold water(optional)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch(optional)
- Cut up veg into chunks place in bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add whole chicken and all the seasonings and the water ,cover with a lid and cook on high for 6 hours,and serve enjoy
- (Optional)When fully cooked remove carefully and slice ,if u want to thicken the liquid use 2tbsp of cornstarch and a little water add to boiling liquid and thicken the stock/liquid to a gravy yum
