Baked Macaroni And Sausage

  1. Remove sausage meat from casings and crumble.
  2. In a skillet, fry sausage meat until browned.
  3. Add green pepper, onion, salt and pepper. Saute for 5 minutes. Do not drain.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, water and tomato paste. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Cook and drain elbow macaroni.
  5. Layer elbow macaroni and Mozzarella cheese in a baking dish, ending with a layer of macaroni.
  6. Pour sauce over macaroni and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake in a 400u0b0 oven for 30 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
