Quick Jambalaya
- 1/2 lb. (225 g) hot Italian sausage, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) chili-style stewed tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) 25%-less-sodium chicken broth
- 1-1/2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
- 1 cup frozen cooked shrimp, thawed
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup Kraft BarBQ Sauce
- Cook sausage and onions in hot oil in large skillet on medium heat until sausage is done, stirring occasionally.
- Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
- Bring to boil; cover.
- Remove from heat; let stand 5 min.
- Fluff with fork.
