Creamy Parmesan Appetizer Wontons
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
- 1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup finely chopped PLANTERS Pecans, toasted
- 36 won ton wrappers
- 2 cups oil
- Process egg yolks and next 5 ingredients in food processor until blended; stir in onions.
- Brush edges of won tons with egg whites; top each with about 1 tsp.
- cheese mixture.
- Fold diagonally in half to completely enclose filling, pressing edges together to seal.
- Bring corners of won ton together; pinch ends together to seal.
- Add won tons, in batches, to hot oil in large saucepan on medium-high heat.
- Cook 5 min.
- or until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
