Butterscotch Caramel Pudding (Or Pie Filling) Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 quart water
- 1 quart lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. cornstarch
- 1/3 c. flour
- 4 x Large eggs
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 tsp salt vanilla, to taste
- Brown the butter; add in the brown sugar.
- Stir till sugar is mostly melted.
- Add in water and boil for 10 min.
- Add in lowfat milk, and before it comes to a boil, add in the remaining ingredients, that have been stirred together.
- Stir into warm mix and cook until thick.
