Ray's Super Easy Basic Cheesecake

  1. Crust: Put Graham cracker crumbs in a large bowl.
  2. Knead in 1/2 stick of butter.
  3. Press onto bottom of 9-inch prepared springform pan.
  4. Chill for about 15 minutes before filling.
  5. Filling: Dust off the blender.
  6. Drop in 1 tub of ricotta (16 oz.
  7. ), 1 brick of cream chesse (12 oz.
  8. ), 1/2 tsp.
  9. vanilla, 1/3 cup sugar, 2 eggs and 1/4 stick of butter.
  10. Blend until smooth.
  11. Pour gently on top of crust.
  12. Repeat for second half of ingredients.
  13. Bake at 325F.
  14. for about an hour and a quarter.
  15. Check frequently.
  16. It is done when the center starts to firm up and the sides begin to pull away from pan.
  17. Turn off the oven and allow to cool slowly.
  18. Chill for at least 6 hours before serving
