Caliente Lemonade
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- Juice of 2 medium-size oranges
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup dark rum
- 8 thin lemon or orange slices
- Cloves (optional)
- In a saucepan, mix water, lemon juice, orange juice, sugar and rum.
- Heat to just below boiling point.
- Pour into mugs and garnish with slices of lemon or orange, studded with cloves.
