Yummy Breakfast Muffins

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add milk, egg, and applesauce; mix until ingredients are moistened, do not overbeat.
  3. Stir in fresh fruit.
  4. Spoon batter into twelve greased muffin cups.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until tops spring back when lightly touched.
  6. Serve warm.
