Carne Guisada
- 1/4 cups Vegetable Oil
- 4 pounds Top Sirloin Steak, Cut Into 1 Inch Cubes
- 13 cups Flour
- 3 teaspoons Salt
- 3 teaspoons Pepper
- 1- 1/2 cup Water
- 3 whole Potatoes, Diced
- 1 cube Beef Bouillon
- 3 Tablespoons Tomato Bouillon
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- Tortillas, To Serve
- Shredded Cheese, To Serve
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the oil over medium/high heat.
- Coat the meat with the flour, salt and pepper.
- Brown the meat until browned on all sides.
- Add the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and simmer for 3 or more hours, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with warm flour tortillas and lots of cheese!
