Carne Guisada

  1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the oil over medium/high heat.
  2. Coat the meat with the flour, salt and pepper.
  3. Brown the meat until browned on all sides.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover and simmer for 3 or more hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve with warm flour tortillas and lots of cheese!
