Chocolate Chili Recipe
- 2 pound grnd beef
- 2 (15 ounce.) cans kidney beans
- 2 (15 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (4 ounce.) cans sliced mushrooms
- 1 lg. onion, minced
- 1 (6 ounce.) can pitted ripe olives, liquid removed and minced
- 1/4 c. chili pwdr, less for mild flavor
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. horseradish mustard
- 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon grnd cumin (optional)
- In a large kettle, brown meat.
- Drain fat.
- Add in the remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
- Reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
