Spaghetti Sauce With Meat And Mushrooms Recipe
- 2 cans (1 lb.) tomatoes
- 2 cans (8 ounce.) tomato sauce
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 2 buds garlic, minced
- 1 c. onion, minced
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- 1 tbsp. parley flakes
- 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. grnd meat
- 1 can (8 ounce.) sliced mushrooms
- 1 to 2 tbsp. sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil or possibly veg. oil (extra virgin olive oil gives more Italian flavor)
- Saute/fry onions and garlic in oil, add in grnd beef and cook till meat is brown.
- Add in all tomatoes, spices and mushrooms and simmer for 1 hour or possibly more.
- For economy, double all but the meat and freeze part for later use.
