Baked Rabbit Apple
- 1 rabbit
- 3 large apples (sliced thick)
- 12 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 pinch rosemary
- 1 pinch sage
- 1 pinch cumin
- Quarter Rabbit and put in deep cooking sheet or cast iron deep skillet.
- Add pepper, herbs and place pats of butter on top of each quartered piece of rabbit.
- Cover with bacon strips.
- Place apple slices over all the meat, cover loosely with foil and bake 350F for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
