So Saucy Smothered Chicken
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 500 g chicken, diced
- 1 onion, sliced thinly
- 1 cup mushroom, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic, crushed
- 1 tablespoon French onion soup mix
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) cancan cream of chicken soup
- 12 cup sliced carrot
- 2 cups broccoli
- 14 cup frozen corn
- 14 cup frozen peas
- 12 teaspoon paprika
- 14 teaspoon dried thyme
- Heat the oil in a large pot.
- Fry the chicken, onion and mushrooms together for about 4-5 minutes.
- Add the garlic and fry until fragrant.
- Add the soup mix and soups and stir well.
- Cook until almost boiling and reduce to a low simmer.
- Add the vegetables and simmer for 15-20 minutes (or vegetables are all cooked).
- Serve and enjoy.
