Baby Reubens
- 1 loaf (24 slices) cocktail dill
- pumpernickel bread
- 4 tbsp. Thousand Island dressing, to taste
- 8 slices pastrami, fat trimmed and cut into thirds
- 1 sm. can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
- 6 slices swiss cheese, quartered
- Spread bread slices with 1/2 tsp.
- dressing each.
- Top with pastrami, then divide sauerkraut among slices (about 1 to 1-1/2 tsp.
- of sauerkraut each).
- Top with Swiss cheese and bake in preheated 350F oven for 12-14 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
