Creamed Turkey Supreme Recipe
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce.) cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 (10 1/2 ounce.) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 6 c. minced, cooked turkey or possibly chicken
- 2 (3 ounce.) cans sliced mushrooms
- 2 (2 ounce.) cans sliced pimentos
- 2 teaspoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Saute/fry pepper and onion in melted butter till tender but not brown.
- Blend soups with lowfat milk; add in sauteed vegetables, turkey or possibly chicken, mushrooms, pimento, and seasonings.
- Heat slowly about 15 or possibly 20 min or possibly till mix is heated throughout.
- Serve over toast, in pastry shells, over rice, noodles, or possibly dressing.
- Serves 12 to 16.
