slow cooked beef brisket
- 12 lb beef brisket
- 8 oz liquid smoke
- 1 cup brisket rub season
- 18 oz barbeque sauce
- preheated oven to 250F
- inject one 4 oz.
- bottle of liquid smoke into brisket
- then rub brisket with rub season
- place brisket in large baking pan pour second 4oz.
- bottle liquid smoke over brisket
- cover brisket tightly with aluminium foil place in oven
- cook for 6 hours then remove from oven be very careful its going to be very hot
- remove foil and pour barbeque sauce over the brisket replace uncovered brisket back in oven for another 45 minutes
- check in the thickest part of brisket with a meat thermometer for a temp between 175 degreese medium well or 185F well done
- remove brisket and let set for 20 minutes.
- serve sliced or chopped on buns enjoy
