slow cooked beef brisket

  1. preheated oven to 250F
  2. inject one 4 oz.
  3. bottle of liquid smoke into brisket
  4. then rub brisket with rub season
  5. place brisket in large baking pan pour second 4oz.
  6. bottle liquid smoke over brisket
  7. cover brisket tightly with aluminium foil place in oven
  8. cook for 6 hours then remove from oven be very careful its going to be very hot
  9. remove foil and pour barbeque sauce over the brisket replace uncovered brisket back in oven for another 45 minutes
  10. check in the thickest part of brisket with a meat thermometer for a temp between 175 degreese medium well or 185F well done
  11. remove brisket and let set for 20 minutes.
  12. serve sliced or chopped on buns enjoy
