Barbecued Indian Spice Turkey Recipe

  1. Trim halved turkey breast slices of all fat and skin.
  2. Butterfly meat by using a sharp knife, starting in center of one long side and cutting in half to within 1/2" of second long side; open meat like a book (using partially frzn turkey makes this process easier).
  3. Set meat flat on a platter.
  4. Mix together yogurt, chili, cumin, pepper, nutmeg, and garlic pwdr in a small bowl.
  5. Rub mix over turkey, cover, and refrigerateovernight (or possibly at least 2 hrs).
  6. Prepare barbecue.
  7. Grill meat 4 inches from heat source till cooked through, about 4-6 min per side.
  8. Let stand for 5 min, then cut diagonally into slices.
  9. Serve with a rice salad.
  10. Makes about 6 servings.
