Chicken with vegetables and sauce by Pam...
- 1/2 kg chicken wash cut into serving pieces
- 10 grams unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1 pc. chicken sausage cut diagonal(optional)
- 1 medium potato diced
- 1 medium carrots diced
- 1 small bell pepper(any color you have in hand)
- 2 clove garlic minced
- 1 medium red onion chopped
- 1/4 cup green peas fresh or frozen
- 2 cup chicken stock
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 salt and black pepper to taste
- 100 grams tomato paste
- in a small bowl combine all the ingridents for the sauce set aside.
- in woak heat butter and oil in medium heat fry the chicken untill light brown both side.set aside
- in the same woak add onion and garlic and sausage saute about a minute bring bck the chicken combine add the prepare sauce and the bay leaf cover bring to a boil and simmer for 5 min.add carrots and potato give a nice stir to combine.cover again untill vegetables and chicken are tender add the peas simmer for another 2 min untill all are tender and sauce is nicely thick.
