Sweet and Sour Meatballs
- 1 -2 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 14 cup chopped onion
- 12 ounces chili sauce
- 10 ounces grape jelly
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- Combine meat, egg, bread crumbs, seasonings and onion.
- Make small meatballs.
- Heat chili sauce, jelly, and lemon juice in a heavy skillet until blended.
- Add meatballs, cover and simmer 30 minutes.
- Uncover and cook 15 minutes longer , stirring frequently.
