Chocolate Trifle
- 3 cups milk
- 2 (6 7/8 ounce) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box brownies
- 4 14 ounces chocolate-covered english toffee bars
- Bake brownies, cool and cut into 1-inch cubes; Crush toffee bars.
- Beat milk and pudding mixes in a large bowl with wire whisk for 2 minutes, or until blended.
- Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla in a metal bowl on Medium-High until fluffy and firm.
- Place half of the brownies in a (2-qt serving or trifle) bowl.
- Top with layers, half of the pudding, half of the whipped cream and half of the crushed toffee bars.
- Repeat the layers.
- Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
- Store leftovers in refrigerator.
