Roman Noodles

  1. Combine onion, green pepper and oil in a 2-quart casserole. Cook in microwave on Full power for 2 to 3 minutes, until onion and green pepper are tender.
  2. Stir in mushrooms with liquid, tomato sauce and seasonings.
  3. Cook in microwave, covered, on Full power for 3 minutes and heated through.
  4. Stir in noodles and water.
  5. Cook in microwave, covered, on Full power for 9 to 12 minutes, until noodles are tender.
  6. Stir halfway through cooking time.
  7. Stir in the peas.
  8. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
  9. Serves about 4 to 5 people.
