Baked Walleye With Wild Rice Recipe

  1. Cook wild rice.
  2. In 4 ounces of butter, saute/fry onions till almost clear.
  3. Add in the mushrooms and the cooked wild rice.
  4. Season the filets with salt and pepper.
  5. Roll in bread crumbs.
  6. Place the filets in oven and bake at 450 degrees for about 15 min.
  7. In 1/2 lb.
  8. of butter, saute/fry the sliced almonds.
  9. Serve the filets with wild rice on the side.
  10. Spoon the butter and almonds over the filets and rice.
  11. Garnish.
  12. This recipe yields 8 servings.
