Chinese-Style Spicy Edamame

  1. Boil plenty of water in a pot, add the salt, and boil edamame for 5-6 minutes.
  2. If you want to make this an authentic Chinese dish, add 1 star anise.
  3. Mix ingredients, and set aside.
  4. When the edamame is finished cooking, transfer to a sieve.
  5. Let it cool under running water, and transfer into a bowl.
  6. Mix in the Step 2 sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with red chili peppers, and done.
  8. Let it chill in the fridge.
  9. It will taste more delicious.
