Pineapple And Beets Recipe
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Liquid from 16 ounce. pineapple
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 4 c. or possibly 32 ounce. cut beets, liquid removed
- Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and salt; add in pineapple juice, water, and vinegar.
- Cook till sauce thickens.
- Stir constantly.
- Add in beets and pineapple.
- Serve warm or possibly cool.
- Delicious with pork or possibly fowl.
