Pumped-Up Pecan Pie

  1. Heat oven to 350F Fit crust into a 9 inches pie plate.
  2. Flute edges.
  3. Reserve 1/2 cup mixed nuts and 1/4 cup dried cranberries in a bowl.
  4. Coarsely chop remaining nuts and cranberries.
  5. Spread evenly in crust.
  6. Whisk remaining ingredients in a medium bowl until blended.
  7. Pour over nut mixture.
  8. Decoratively place reserved nuts and cranberries on top.
  9. Bake 50-60 minutes until set.
  10. (If crust browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil.)
  11. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
