Hearty Hamburger Soup
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 12 tablespoon salt
- 12 tablespoon pepper
- 12 tablespoon oregano
- 14 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 6 cups boiling water
- 6 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 (16 ounce) jar pasta sauce (I used Ragu tomato and basil)
- 1 cup frozen sweet corn
- 12 cup frozen green beans
- 1 (8 ounce) box penne pasta
- Brown Ground Beef in a large soup pot, and drain fat.
- Meanwhile in a large sauce pan, boil the 6 cups of water with the buillon cubes.
- Add salt, pepper, oregano, chilli powder, garlic powder, and onion to the beef.
- Stir to mix seasonings evenly.
- Add beef broth to seasoned meat, then add the 16oz.
- jar of pasta sauce, and the soy sauce.
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add the potatos, corn, and green beans to the pot.
- Simmer covered for 30 minutes.
- Add the Penne Pasta, and simmer for another 30 minutes.
- Top with parmesean cheese if you want and enjoy :).
