Parmesan Crusted Calamari Kebabs

  1. Slice tubes in half lengthwise.
  2. Thread onto skewers.
  3. Combine cheese and next 4 ingredients in a shallow dish.
  4. Brush egg white lightly over squid.
  5. Dredge squid into breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place skewers on a lightly greased rack in a broiler pan.
  7. Broil calamari 5 1/2 inches from heat 2 to 4 minutes or until golden.
  8. Serve warm with Roasted Red Bell Pepper and Basil Sauce or sauce of choice.
