Pinto Beans -Oamc

  1. Put beans in a pot
  2. Add onion cut in quarters.
  3. Cover with water.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let sit covered 1 hour.
  7. Drain.
  8. Add water to cover again.
  9. Cook on simmer 2 hours.
  10. Ladle in freezer containers with small amount of cooking liquid.
  11. To fry beans, put a small amount of oil in pan add beans.
  12. Heat.
  13. Mash beans.
  14. Add milk to make creamy, cheese and salsa.
