Thai Hot And Sour Shrimp Soup Recipe

  1. Wash shrimp with shells on; soak in salted water for 10 min.
  2. Peel and devein shrimp; drain on paper towels.
  3. Add in garlic, shrimp paste, and lime juice to 3 c. boiling water.
  4. Add in shrimp, mushrooms, and bok-choy.
  5. Cook on medium-high flame till shrimp turns pink and bok-choy is tender, approximately 2-3 min.
  6. Serve warm.
  7. (Note: chicken, barbequed pork, or possibly wontons may be substituted for shrimp).
