Creamy Turkey Stew Recipe
- 3 c. diced cooked turkey
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, minced
- 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
- 3/4 c. chunk style peanut butter
- 3 c. turkey or possibly chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Heat butter in Dutch oven.
- Add in onion and green pepper.
- Cook till onion is tender.
- Stir in tomato paste, peanut butter and broth, mix well.
- Add in nutmeg and turkey.
- Cook over low heat till heated through.
- Stir from time to time.
- Good to make after Thanksgiving.
