Ground Turkey a la King
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, minced
- 1 large celery stalk, minced
- 20 oz lean ground turkey
- 2 pinch Herb de Provence
- 2 red bell peppers, chopped
- 12 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 can chicken broth
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 packages pasta
- Cook onions, celery and carrots in the oil until soft.
- Add ground turkey, peppers and seasoning.
- Cook until the meat is done.
- Pour in broth and add the mushrooms.
- Mix flour and milk in a small dish.
- Once the broth starts to get hot, pour in the thickener.
- When done serve with cooked pasta or over rice.
