Barley Bargain Soup

  1. Place meat, water, barley, salt & pepper in dutch oven.
  2. Cover tightly and cook slowly 1 hour.
  3. Remove meat & cut up.
  4. Return to pot.
  5. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat & simmer about 45 minutes.
