Southwest Crescent Pie
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 can of beans
- 1 can of tomatoes
- 1/2 c. frozen corn
- 1 package crescent-roll dough
- 1/2 c. Jack cheese
- Brown beef in large nonstick skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, or until beef is no longer pink.
- Pour off the drippings.
- Stir in beans in chili sauce, tomatoes and corn; bring to a boil.
- Cook 10 minutes, or until most of liquid has evaporated, stirring.
- Separate 1 package crescent-roll dough into 8 triangles.
- Line 9-inch pie plate with triangles, narrow tips toward center.
- Firmly press edges together to form a crust.
- Bake in 375 degrees F oven for 10 minutes; remove.
- Spoon beef mixture into crust; sprinkle with pepper Jack cheese.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges of crust are golden brown and cheese is melted.
