Strawberry Italian Ice

  1. Combine sugar and water in saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil and boil rapidly 5 minutes.
  3. Cool to room temperature.
  4. Puree strawberries in blender or food processor, leaving small chunks of berries.
  5. Add pureed strawberries, lemon and orange juices to sugar-water and mix thoroughly.
  6. Pour into freezer trays or containers to freeze firm.
  7. Do not pour into dessert glasses to freeze, as glass might break.
