Mr. Turkey Sausage and Vegetable Medley
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce, light
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger ground
- 1 cup vegetable stock or chicken broth
- 1 package smoked sausage cut into 1/4 inch slices (16 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4 cups mixed vegetables fresh, chopped
- 313 cups rice cooked
- In small bowl, combine cornstarch, brown sugar, soy sauce and ginger.
- Gradually blend in broth until mixture is smooth; set aside.
- Coat large, non-stick skillet with vegetable spray.
- Brown sausage; remove.
- Add oil and vegetables to skillet.
- Cook, stirring 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Add sausage and broth mixture.
- Cook, stirring until sauce thickens.
- Serve over hot rice.
