Apple Cobbler With Peanut Butter Ice Cream Recipe
- 6 x apples cut 1/2" dice
- 2 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp grnd cardamom
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 pch kosher salt
- 3/4 c. quick-cooking oats
- 1/2 lb cool unsalted butter cut 1/2" dice
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Lightly butter ovenproof baking dish.
- To make filling: Combine filling ingredients in mixing bowl, and toss together.
- Place into baking dish.
- To make topping: Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
- By hand and using sharp knives, cut butter into dry ingredients, and work the mix till butter is size of large peas.
- Pack topping over diced apples.
- Bake 20 to 30 min or possibly till golden.
- Remove from oven, and serve warm or possibly at room temperature.
- Serve with Peanut Butter Ice Cream (see recipe) or possibly on its own.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
