Teriyaki-wasabi smashed potatoes

  1. Peel the potatoes cube them and add them to salted boiling water until fork tender
  2. heat a sauce pan over medium heat and add the wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Bring it all to a boil.
  4. After 5 minutes reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 more minutes then remove the ginger and garlic
  5. Add the potatoes in a mixing bowl, with the soy milk, wasabi, salt and pepper to taste mash it all together
  6. Drizzle the teriyaki sauce over the plated potatoes
