Cherry Pork Roast Recipe

  1. Rub roast with salt and pepper.
  2. Place on rack in shallow pan.
  3. Roast uncovered at 325 degrees for 1 to 2 1/2 hrs.
  4. While meat is roasting, combine remaining ingredients, except almonds.
  5. Heat to boiling, simmer 2 min.
  6. Add in almonds.
  7. Keep sauce hot.
  8. Remove roast, spoon sufficient sauce over meat to glaze.
  9. Return to oven for 30 min or possibly more.
  10. Baste several times.
  11. Serve remaining sauce with sliced roast.
