Candy Cane Puffs

  1. Combine flour and salt -- set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar, beat in egg and extracts.
  3. Mix into flour mixture using low speed.
  4. Wrap dough in plastic wrap, refrigerate for one hour.
  5. Shape dough into walnut sized balls --
  6. Place on lightly greased baking sheet --
  7. Bake at 375* for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Cool.
  9. melt white chocolate in a double boiler.dip cooled cookies into melted chocolate.
  10. Roll in crushed peppermint candy.
  11. Set on waxed paper.until hardened.
