Caesar Salad
- 4 ounces anchovies, drained
- 12 lemon
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 12 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 -2 dash cayenne
- 13 cup olive oil
- 12 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 12 cup crouton
- 2 bunches romaine lettuce
- 1 egg
- Rub the bottom third of a wooden bowl with a garlic clove; add anchovies and mash until they are a paste.
- Add egg and the juice of 1/2 lemon.
- Mince garlic cloves and add along with Worcestershire,salt, mustard, red pepper, olive oil, and parmesan and stir well.
