Carrot n cherrios granola
- 1/2 cup grated carrot (I used a medium carrot -- juice must be squeezed out of the carrot -- then measured to a half cup)
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup multigrain cheerios
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup almonds
- 2 tbsp flaxseed
- 2 tbsp sesame seed
- 1 FOR THE COATING
- 1/2 cup agave
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp coconut essence (you can use whatever essence you have)
- Gather ingredients
- Mix it all in a bowl
- Mix coating
- Pour over dry ingredients and turn to coat well
- Spread on a cookie sheet and bake in a preheated 375 degrees F oven for 15 to 17 minutes
- Take out of oven and leave to cool before enjoying
- I had mines with some unflavoured unsweetened yougurt....you can also have this with milk or eat as a snack ..
