Acorn Squash And Sausage Recipe

  1. Cut squash in half lengthwise, and remove seeds; sprinkle with salt.
  2. Place cut side down in a shallow baking dish, and add in 1/2 inch boiling water.
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 35 min; drain.
  4. Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat till browned, stirring to crumble meat.
  5. Remove from heat; drain.
  6. Place 1 Tbsp.
  7. brown sugar and 1 1/2 tsp.
  8. butter in each squash cavity.
  9. Spoon sausage into squash halves.
  10. Bake uncovered, at 350 for 25 min or possibly till tender.
