Vegetarian Cabbage Skillet
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 (12 ounce) package textured vegetable protein, crumbled
- 12 cup brown rice
- 2 cups cabbage, chopped
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can cream of celery soup
- 1 12 cups soymilk
- 1 -2 tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 1 dash salt and pepper
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion, vegetable protein, rice, and garlic.
- Saute until onion is soft.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Cover and cook for 35-40 minutes until rice is done and cabbage is tender.
