Italian Cannellini and Cabbage Soup
- 2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 3 cups thinly sliced cabbage
- 1 small onion, coarsely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon crushed caraway seed
- 12 cup cooked mostaccioli pasta or 12 cup penne pasta
- salt and pepper
- Combine all ingredients, except pasta, salt and pepper in slow cooker; cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours, adding pasta during last 20 minutes.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
